Betty’s Summer of the Century Giveaway - Terms & Conditions

Promotion Overview

The Betty’s Summer of the Century Giveaway is a limited-time promotion operated by Betty Canada and available to eligible users in Ontario.

Eligible participants can receive entries into a random draw for a $100,000 CAD cash prize by registering and successfully completing identity verification or by referring eligible friends who register and successfully complete identity verification.

Promotion Period

The promotion runs from August 3, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time until August 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
All registration, identity verification and referral requirements must be successfully completed during the promotion period.

Eligibility
To participate in the promotion, a user must:

• Be at least 19 years old;
• Be physically located in Ontario;
• Meet all applicable eligibility requirements under Betty Canada’s Terms of Use; and
• Not be self-excluded, restricted, suspended or otherwise prohibited from using Betty.

Employees of Betty Canada and its affiliated companies, their immediate family members and any other persons directly involved in administering the promotion are not eligible to participate.

New User Entry
A new user will receive one entry when they:

• Register for a new Betty account between August 3 and August 31, 2026; and
• Successfully complete identity verification before the promotion ends.

Both registration and identity verification must be completed during the promotion period.
Each eligible person may receive a maximum of one new-user entry.
Users who registered and verified before August 3, 2026 will not receive a new-user entry but may earn referral entries under Section 5.

Referral Entries
An eligible Betty user will receive one additional entry for every unique eligible friend who:

• Registers through the user’s official Betty referral link or approved referral method during the promotion period;
• Is a new Betty user;
• Successfully completes identity verification before August 31, 2026; and
• Meets all other eligibility requirements.

The qualifying referee will also receive one new-user entry of their own after registering and successfully completing identity verification.
Each unique qualifying referee can generate only one referral entry and may be attributed to only one referrer.

Combining Entries
An eligible new user may receive:

• One entry for registering and successfully completing identity verification; and
• One additional entry for every eligible friend they refer who also registers and successfully completes identity verification during the promotion period.

For example, a new user who registers and verifies and then refers two friends who both register and verify will receive three entries in total.

No Purchase or Wagering Requirement
No purchase, deposit or wager is required to enter the promotion.
Making a deposit, placing a wager or spending money with Betty will not provide an additional entry or otherwise increase a participant’s chances of winning.
Participants may receive additional entries only through eligible verified referrals, as described in these Terms & Conditions.
8. Referral Restrictions
The following will not qualify for referral entries:

• Self-referrals;
• Referrals of existing Betty users;
• Duplicate or multiple accounts;
• Referrals not completed through an approved Betty referral method;
• Accounts that fail identity, age, location or eligibility checks;
• False, incomplete or misleading registration information;
• Fraudulent, manipulated or artificially generated referrals; or
• Any referral activity that Betty Canada reasonably considers abusive or inconsistent with the purpose of the promotion.

Betty Canada’s account, verification and referral records will determine whether an entry is valid and which referrer receives credit.

Prize
The promotion includes:

• One $100,000 CAD cash prize

The prize will be awarded to one eligible winner.
The prize is non-transferable and will be awarded only after the winner has successfully completed all required identity, eligibility and compliance checks.

Winner Selection
One potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries on September 1, 2026.
Each valid entry will represent one opportunity to be selected. Participants who have earned multiple valid entries through eligible referrals will have multiple entries included in the draw.

Odds of Winning
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the promotion period.
Earning additional referral entries increases the number of entries held by a participant but does not guarantee that the participant will win.

Winner Notification
The potential winner will be contacted using the email address or other contact information associated with their Betty account.
The potential winner will be required to correctly answer a time limited mathematical skill testing question, and may be required to complete additional identity, eligibility, regulatory or administrative checks, before the prize is awarded.
If the selected participant:

• Cannot be contacted;
• Does not respond within the timeframe specified in the winner notification;
• Fails to complete any required checks;
• Is found to be ineligible; or
• Has breached these Terms & Conditions or Betty Canada’s Terms of Use,

Betty Canada may disqualify the selected participant and randomly select an alternate potential winner.

Account Requirements
A participant’s Betty account must remain valid, verified and in good standing until the prize has been awarded.
Closing an account, becoming self-excluded, failing verification or otherwise becoming ineligible before the prize is awarded may result in disqualification.

Disqualification
Betty Canada reserves the right to disqualify a participant or remove entries where the participant:

• Provides false, incomplete or misleading information;
• Creates or controls multiple accounts;
• Attempts to manipulate the registration, verification or referral process;
• Uses automated, fraudulent or abusive methods;
• Violates these Terms & Conditions or Betty Canada’s Terms of Use;
• Fails an identity, age, location or compliance check; or
• Is otherwise found to be ineligible.

Betty Canada may withhold or recover a prize awarded as a result of fraud, error, ineligibility or a breach of these Terms & Conditions.

Technical Issues
Betty Canada is not responsible for registrations, verifications, referrals or entries that are delayed, incomplete, incorrectly attributed or not recorded due to technical issues or circumstances outside Betty Canada’s reasonable control.
Betty Canada’s systems and records will be used to determine whether a registration, identity verification, referral or entry was successfully completed.

Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the promotion will be handled in accordance with Betty Canada’s Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
Personal information may be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact the potential winner and award the prize.
Participation in the promotion does not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing communications where separate consent is required.

Changes, Suspension or Cancellation
Betty Canada reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend or cancel the promotion where reasonably required due to legal, regulatory, technical, security, operational or integrity-related circumstances.
Any material changes will be communicated through an appropriate Betty channel.

General Terms
By participating in the promotion, users agree to these Terms & Conditions, Betty Canada’s Terms of Use and Betty Canada’s Privacy Policy.
In the event of a conflict between these promotional Terms & Conditions and Betty Canada’s general Terms of Use, these promotional Terms & Conditions will apply specifically to the promotion, unless otherwise required by law.
The promotion is subject to all applicable federal and Ontario laws and regulations.
